The music industry was not one that I thought of as feminine so allowing myself to accept the new feminine standards is a real issue. It's really hard to say, "Okay, I can be feminine and soft as well as sturdy and care for myself without reducing myself." I've really enjoyed it for a while, and I've enjoyed wearing heels and dresses each day, and having lovely curls and soft fabrics. There was pressure because I'm younger that everyone else in Fantastic Beasts. It was strange, but I sensed a strong force pulling my up. It was likely that I'd be crushed or crumble due to the way I wanted to play this character and the sheer size. It is possible to spend all day exploring museums, walking, parks and coffee shops and simply observing the individuals. In LA there is a possibility of being at a distance, while in London you are able to take the Tube and be in the thick of humanity as well as every other type of human you could imagine is moving through. I like watching the people around me. Since I'm from the world of music, I'm always in contact with males. It feels like having a conversation with guys can be intimate. It's an amazing fantasyland for me. I've read all the books. I've read a few of the titles on tour, and it's really lovely to have that sort of world that you can escape into in the midst of a tour, you're constantly going from one place to another which can be very disorienting, then to go to the most vivid, vibrant universe from my sleeping space at night can be quite enchanting.
