Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is a reviewer who tackles Z-grade film generally within the martial arts or horror genre a roughly similar beat to The Cinema Snob but tending towards action-oriented dumb films and a morbid enjoyment of them. She began reviewing movies around the middle of 2009, after she was famous on their forums. (Under her old username Obscurus Lupa) She was then invited to be part of the Channel Awesome team. She remained on the site until the beginning of 2015 when the channel Obscurus Lupa Presents was retooled into Movie Nights. She co-hosts two podcasts that cover the Charmed franchise. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. It reviews horrendous films aimed at children, RiffTrax and live shows. There are also times when it features adult comedy. When she began reviewing films in 2009 her name was a hit through the Channel Awesome forums. After joining the official team that comprises Channel Awesome reviewers, she gained a lot of attention. Her appearances have been in numerous Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. She has appeared in numerous episodes from Nostalgia Critic and was a former member of Channel Awesome's family along with Doug Walker.
